Amsterdam district choses GreenGraffiti® to promote neighborhood Olympic Games
On sidewalks throughout the district of the Baarsjes reenGraffiti® is used to promote a local version of the Olympic Games to take place in August 2008.
The district chose to use reenGraffiti® not only because it is an innovative and inexpensive way to promote the event but also because it is a sustainable form of outdoor advertising that supports Amsterdam's goal of becoming the most sustainable city in Europe.
240 liters of water were used to produce the 30 GreenGraffiti®. Working with our new partner The Value Agency, GreenGraffiti will componsate for the water used by producing 360 liters of clean drinking water in a country where clean drinking water is scare. reenGraffiti® will be the first company in Europe to compensate its water usage in much the same way we compensate our carbon footprint. As part of our committement to provide real solutions to the problem of global warming, we over compensate our impact by 150%. Why do the bare minimum when for only a few extra euro we can do so much more.
